Never Unprepared preorder packing night

This time around, I had mailers and address information before I had books (unlike Masks and Eureka), so I did some prep in advance to make the usually frenzied preorder packing night a little less frenzied. And it worked! All 181 preorders, plus contributor and other comp copies, are now packed up and labelled for the post office.

This is a normal workweek for me, which means I may not be able to mail them all out tomorrow; my overflowing trunk of books represents about 90 minutes at the post office, which is hard to squeeze into a weekday. But rest assured I’ll mail as many as I can tomorrow, and then keep doing the same until they’re all gone — I want you to get your books as soon as possible!

Here’s a few pictures from preorder packing night, starting with my production station — AKA the dining table — and ending with six full crates (well, five and a laundry hamper!) of books.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who preordered Never Unprepared — you rock!
