Engine Publishing is Sponsoring Open Game Table, Vol. 2
Along with Gnome Stew, which features all of the members of the Eureka: 501 Adventure Plots to Inspire Game Masters design team, and Silvervine Games, the RPG company founded by gnome and Eureka author John Arcadian, Engine Publishing is proudly sponsoring Open Game Table: The Anthology of Roleplaying Game Blogs, Volume 2. (Whew, that was a mouthful!)
So what’s Open Game Table? It’s the second volume in a series published by Jonathan Jacobs (who also runs Nevermet Press), and I love the mission of these books: to bridge the gap between gamers who rarely get their gaming goodness online, and those who do. OGTv2 will be available for sale online, at GenCon 2010, and in retail stores everywhere, and it showcases RPG blog articles from around the world.
In addition to having Gnome Stew articles in this book, we’re sponsoring it for three reasons: because the first book, Open Game Table, Volume 1, rocked on toast; because it seems like a great way to get the word out about Eureka; and because 77 people — yes, 77! — contributed to this book, and sponsorships are being used to fund the $750 needed to print and send a copy of the finished product to each of them.
Put all that together, and you get a no-brainer. Here’s to the success of OGTv2!
Thanks again for the support! You guys rock on toast!
So very happy to do it, Jonathan! I can’t wait to see the finished product. 🙂
